This Friday, there will be a conference call with the Student Affairs committee of the Board of Trustees. There will be a discussion about the memorandum from President Powell to Vice President Malewicki and Executive Vice President Soller, concerning ARCC renovations. Powell accepted the initial proposal that was approved by SGA in November. The memorandum states conditions that he wants Vice Presidents Soller and Malewicki to adapt before it is presented to the Board of Trustees. Members of SGA presented opinions on the proposal.
Director of Campus Activities and Leadership Ken McVearry is trying to systematically organize offices around campus. He is aiming to improve the methods of communication of offices. It is a really ambitious goal and is dependent on student leadership.
The Mount is entered in a Recyclemania! competition against a variety of schools, the largest being Brigham Young University and the smallest being McDaniel College. The purpose of the contest is to determine which school can recycle the most tons per capita.
Spring into Green ongoing event will soon be publicized through Student Government.
Complaints were lodged about most of the printers on campus not working and Information Technology committee is working on addressing the problem.
