Q. What are some pregame rituals/superstitions you have?

A. I don't really have any superstitions, but I always play with gum in my mouth. Its more out of comfort and routine than ritual. I don't know how I would play without it.

Q. What gets your pulse racing before a game?

A. My pulse starts racing during warm-ups in anticipation for the game. When the music is playing and I'm focused on the competition, I get butterflies, but it's a good kind of nervous.

Q. How did you get into playing basketball?

A. My older siblings always played basketball and I started playing in third grade on my Dad's CYO team, and have played ever since. My sisters and I always played against each other in the driveway, usually until it was dark and we couldn't see the ball anymore. They were always my biggest competition.

Q. What's your favorite sports moment here at the Mount so far?

A. My favorite sports moment at the Mount is probably everyone else's too. It was when the men's 07-08 team won the NEC Championship and went to the NCAA tournament. It was really exciting to see them get so far, and campus just went crazy.

Q. What type of music/songs do you listen to when working out?

A. I listen to hip hop or rap music when I'm working out. Anything that's fast with a good beat works.

Q. What's an embarrassing moment you have had on the court?

A. I'd have to say in the playoff game against Sacred Heart last year. Someone got sick on the court, and I slipped and fell right in it. The game had to be stopped so I could change my clothes and for the floor to be mopped. And to make things worse, the announcer on the radio said that I got sick and fell in my own mess!

Q. How would your teammates describe you? both on and off the court.

A. I think they would describe me as hard working and funny. I try to be a good example on the court, and off the court, I'm usually laughing and joking around with someone.

Q. What's the best part of being on the Mount basketball team?

A. The closeness of the team. We all get along so well, and we always have a good time when we're together. I love my team.

Q. What is one thing you would change about your basketball career here at the Mount?

A. We would have won a championship already! There are a lot of games that we have played and lost by only a few points. I wish we could have converted those games into wns, and of course won the championship!
