SGA Meeting Briefs: Possible ARCC Renovations?
Caitlyn Ahern
Issue date: 11/18/09 Section: News
Fees (which are a part of the tuition) will be raised from $600 to $630 this spring.
Vice President for Business & Finance Mike Malewicki is looking into the option of raising student fees to $700 to help fund the renovations to the ARCC cardio and weight room, which will cost approximately $2 million. If student leaders choose to accept these fees, then $1 million will be raised towards the ARCC through this increase $700 would probably stay in place, and extra money will be put aside.
Electronic class evaluations will be used. If you don't have a laptop, at the faculty meeting, it was discussed that a work order will be placed with IT for that class period so that a loaner may be distributed to you, and returned after the class period.
Six more outlets will be installed into the Niche after students voiced concerns.
Drafting of the Honor Code will begin soon.
