Ah, where to begin this week - an impromptu comedy performance to open for a band I met in a small bar, the psychedelic experience of the Black Light Theatre, or a visit to a church decorated with human bones? You'll have to buy me a beer at the Ott House sometime to here these stories in detail, as it seems a spin of the wheel of fate will carry outside the Czech Republic for the second week in a row to Budapest, Hungary which is located about 275 miles to the southeast of Prague.

Located on the Danube River, it is the capital city of Hungary. The city was born in 1873 out of the unification of the two adjacent settlements of Buda and Pest (seriously). The main highlight of the trip was a visit to one of the famous bathhouses. During a long occupation by the Ottoman Empire, Turkish Baths became very common in Budapest, and are now considered a vital part of its identity.

The bathhouse had five pools of water ranging in temperature from 28°C to 42°C (I'll leave you children to do the math). Going back and forth between the differently heated waters was very relaxing, and we were surprised to find that afterwards we were exhausted by the process, and very easily melted into our seats for the bus ride home. We went on a coed day so there was no nudity (senior Jess Root was disappointed), but fret not, banana hammocks were in no short supply. In fact, we uncovered a strange phenomenon - the older and hairier the man, the less fabric to his suit.

This is not the only unsolvable mystery on my mind right now. While looking into booking a flight I visited Skyeurope.com. I was perplexed by the seeming familiarity of a man in one of the pictures on the site.

After visiting the Mount's website later, it all became clear…

It's the same guy! So, I suppose that either this is a Mount alumni who has gone on to a successful modeling career, or the aesthetic quality of MSM students has declined to an unusual level.
