Juniors Jacklyn Peery and Noelle Holloway lined up early and laid claim to the first of 50 tickets made available Tuesday morning for Mount students for Wednesday's NEC men's basketball championship game.

Peery and Holloway arrived at 10:30 p.m. Monday. They were alone for the first 20 minutes or so.

According to Peery, they were later joined by "about 35 or 40 others."

"I loved it," Peery said. "We chatted online for a bit, then played some games. We talked and ate some snacks … some people were playing pool."

According to Peery, the majority of the students stayed up late. Some had tried to fall asleep early but could not. However, by around 3 a.m. everyone fell asleep.

"I fell asleep too, but I took a picture of every sleeping around 4 a.m. It was hilarious," Peery said.

Peery said it was a bonding experience for the fans.
When asked why she was there so early, Peery stated, "I think we have the power to win. That's why I was the first in line - to cheer for my sport."
