Administration outraged by hateful graffiti on campus

A disturbing and unprecedented incident occurred on the Mount campus last week. On the morning of November 11 at 9:54 a.m., Professor Kim Hansen reported graffiti on the chalkboard of a classroom in the Academic Center. The graffiti was of a swastika and a Star of David, a depiction of Nazism as being superior to Judaism by a greater than sign, according to Ty Perry, Director of the Center for Student Diversity.… 4 Comments

Mount gets "transfer-friendly"

In past years the Mount has not appealed to transfer students as the best option for continuing a higher education because of the complicated core curriculum and expensive tuition. LaMonica named ladies' lax coach

Athletic Director Lynne Robinson named Sonia LaMonica head coach of women's lacrosse Tuesday, Nov. 17. According to the Mount athletics website, LaMonica served as assistant coach at Towson for two years and Denver in 2006. On November 16 Patriot Hall held an event like nothing else the Mount has seen before. In fact, participants could not see.
