WLAX: Women down rival Hawks

Johnson nets hat trick, adds assist in victory
Sophomore Lucy Pompa and senior Brianna Gauthier were the deciding factors in Saturday's 10-9 women's lacrosse victory over conference-rival Monmouth. MGOLF: Nogay takes seventh at MU Invite

What started as another rough outing for the men's golf team turned into a solid seventh place finish at the Monmouth Invitational this past weekend. Freshman Justin Nogay once again led the Mountaineers by placing seventh after shooting a two-round total of 149, only 10 shots behind the tournament winner, Sacred Heart University's Pat Fillian (139).… Post the First Comment

MLAX: Leopards down men's lacrosse

Mount St. Mary's men's lacrosse fell to Lafayette 10-8 Saturday afternoon in non-conference action and fall to 1-5 on the season. The Leopards lit up the scoreboard within the first five minutes of the half and set the tempo of the game early. The Mountaineers were able to respond with their own goal scored by freshman Anthony Golden, and 15 seconds later freshman Mike Adkins found the twine to put the Mount up by one.… 1 Comment

Sophomore qualifies for IC4A's 200-meter race with time
This weekend the men's and women's track and field teams participated in the University of Maryland Invitational, both posting impressive finishes. The men finished in third place at the meet while the women's team placed fourth. TENNIS: Tennis teams crushed

Both the men's and women's tennis teams finished 0-7 in their matches versus Bucknell at home last Tuesday, March 24 . The Mount men's team dropped to 2-12 while the Mount women fell to 5-9.
