Styrofoam alternatives being considered after SGA rejects to-go container proposal

Patriot Hall showcases healthier items
Since winter break, Patriot Hall has undergone a makeover. Changes have been primarily focused on appearance, including the addition of "Did You Know?" trivia signs explaining facts about certain old and new foods, publicizing health benefits of some of the foods that the cafeteria has been serving, and a healthy snacking table has been added to the entrance of the cafeteria.…

Student activity fee enhances campus events and increases attendance

Henning receives national book prize
Dr. Brian Henning of the philosophy department was awarded the 2007 Findlay book prize from the Metaphysical Society of America on Jan. 22 for his book "Ethics of Creativity: Beauty, Morality and Nature in a Processive Cosmos."
Henning said he was surprised the book won the award because the argument of the book is a philosophy that is unconventional, and a minority viewpoint.…

Alcohol bust: 22 students found in Terrace room
Twenty-two Mount St. Mary's students were found in one room in the Terrace, when Public Safety Officers responded to a noise complaint on Friday, Feb. 2 at 10:30 p.m., according to Director of Public Safety Vincent DeCerchio.
